Mr. Ndubuisi Ejiofor, popularly known as the Commander-in-Chief of the allied UBA Sierra Leone army, is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of UBA Sierra Leone since 2011 and counting.
The soft-spoken, brilliant, brutally honest and handsome gentleman, who hailed from the Delta State, the Southern part of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had his early secondary education back home in Delta.
Mr. Ejiofor holds Bsc. Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Lagos (UNILAG). He has over 20 years of invaluable wealth of experience in the banking industry.
In 2008, Mr. Ndubuisi Ejiofor was appointed as the Pioneer Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the newly established UBA Bank Sierra Leone with just one branch, with mandate to develop strategic business plans to launch across the length and breadth of the virgin market of Sierra Leone.
With a towering belief and faith in his ability and track records, this fine gentleman braced himself with his team for the job of making UBA Sierra Leone a top brand and a leading financial institution in the country.
In 2011, four years after its establishment, the bank was already booming as growth in business volumes and profitability became commonplace.
In line with UBA Group’s culture to reward outstanding apprenticeship, exceptional stewardship and exemplary leadership, the fine gentleman was appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of UBA Sierra Leone.
Under his watch and tutelage, the bank has grown into a leading financial institution in the country, and Mr. Ejiofor himself has become the Face of UBA Sierra Leone, a household name, a respected and likable human being, an opinion leader as he has mastered and perfected such arts as Public Speaking, Top Management Skills, Secrets of High Performing Organizations (HPOs), Customer Service Excellence, Global Politics, Economics, International Trade, Banking and many more 21st Century skills and knowledge.
The MD/CEO leads the subsidiary with a steadfast and sometimes iron fist, so that sails could be stable in the financial space, so that the lion share of the market remains with the Lion Bank, Africa’s Global Bank, the United Bank for Africa SL Limited.
Mr. Ejiofor is happily married to Mrs. Amaka Ejiofor with four beautiful children – Benjamin, Lawrence, Henry and Jessica Ejiofor.
