Kei Kamara opens bagged his first of the season
Sierra Leone and New England Revolution striker, Kei Kamara, scored his first goal of the 2017 U.S Major League Soccer (MLS) season on Saturday, as his side New England Revolution 5-2 victory over Minnesota United FC at the Gillette Stadium.
The goal was the striker’s first this season and it came in the 21st minute to restore the Revolution lead. Juan Agudelo had earlier on given the home side the lead but Minnesota United midfielder Collen Warner leveled the score.
Kei Kamara’s goal became his eight for the Revolution since joining them last season and it was his 87th career MLS goal, ranking him second place among active players.
The other scorers for the home side were Juan Agudelo with a brace, Lee Nguyen and Chris Tierney. Next up for Kei Kmara and his New England Revolution side is a visit to Portland Timbers on Sunday April 2.
