The coach of the Guinean U-20 squad, Junior Guinea Syli, Mandjou Diallo, has called 23 players, including France based Bangaly Soumah, ahead of their return leg encounter with Sierra Leone.
The Guineans will host their Sierra Leonean opponent on Friday in Conakry in the return leg of the preliminary round of the Junior Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) which will be hosted in Senegal 2015.
According to reports from fr.starafrica.com, Diallo told journalists that he retained the squad who played in the first-leg in Sierra Leone, but decided to include few players to strengthen their attack and few other areas.
The prominent inclusion is Bangaly Soumah, who plays for FC Istres in France (Ligue 2) but the rest of the contingent plays in Ligue 1 football in Guinea, precisely in clubs like Horoya AC, AS Kaloum, Fello Stars Labe, the FC Sequence Atletico Coléah and FC Santoba.
In the first-leg, played in Makeni, Sierra Leone defeated their Guinean opponent 1- 0, but coach Diallo believes the second-leg will be a different encounter from their first-leg performance.
Meanwhile, Malian and Senegalese officials will officiate the match and are all expected in Conakry today (Thursday).
