She said the bank thought it fit to visit the school and donate school items to the pupils in order to empower them.
She said the bank has education at heart because they believe education is the most important tool for empowering a nation and called on the pupils to take their studies seriously and to always pass their examinations.
“Let me encourage all that you need and should take your studies seriously because it is all you need to qualify as future leaders,” she said.
On his part, Head Teacher of the school, Maxwell Kargbo, said they are grateful to Guaranty Trust Bank for the gesture and said the donation from the top performing bank would in no little way help the pupils in their pursuit of education.
He said the school and it pupils would always be grateful to the bank for their gesture, and assured that such would motivate the pupils to go to school at all times and pleaded to the bank to visit again.
“Let me use this opportunity to call on your bank and any other financial institutions or other organizations to come to our aid because we are facing a lot of problems and the major one is building. We need more class rooms to accommodate all the pupils in the school,” he said, and added that they are running dual school system because of inadequate classrooms to run a single shift.
