Reigning Sierra Leone Premier League Champions, Diamond Stars, Ports Authority and Mighty Blackpool have all been knocked-out of the ongoing Sierra Leone Football Association LEOCEM FA Cup.
Diamond Stars and Ports Authority were the first two causalities in the round of 32 before being joined by Blackpool on Tuesday.
Diamond Stars lost 5-4 on post game penalties at home to Kholifa Stars of Magburaka. The two legged clash ended 3-3 on aggregate, following a 2-1 score-line from both legs, but the reigning champions were unable to overcome the low ranked Kholifa Stars on the shoot-out.
In Freetown, two times FA Cup winners Ports Authority FC were shown the exit door following their first leg 1-0 defeat to the Sierra Leone Armed Force (RSLAF FC) and the return leg ended goalless, allowing the military boys to progress on 1-0 aggregate win.
Also, Mighty Blackpool follow Ports and Diamond Stars through the door following Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat suffered to Freetown City FC. The Tiss Tass boys lost 2-1 on aggregate after the first leg tie ended in a 1-1 draw.
However, there were joy for last FA Cup winners, FC Kallon who despite their 1-0 defeat to Central Parade on Tuesday, narrowly sailed through, thanks to their 2-0 first leg win.
