The Babala promotion started in May during the Holy Month of Ramada.
Charrel Khoory, member of the Babalaa promotion, said he believes in Orange as they have organised lot of successful promotions.
“Orange is the best GSM operator in Sierra Leone as they always fulfill their promise to their valued customers by giving them whatever they promise. This is the reason why their customers have confidence in the Network,” he said.
Orange Chief Executive Officer, Aminata Kane Ndiaye, stated that before Ramadan the company asked their valued customers what they would like for the Holy Month.
“Because we believe in ourselves and also in changing the lives of our customers, that is why we are here today to offer generosity to you by giving six tricycles (kekeh) and cash prizes of Le5 million each,” she said.
One of the lucky winners, Marion Kabia, who is a student of Njala University, recalled that she was going home after attending lectures when she received a call from Orange.
She noted that she was shocked when they caller told her she had won a tricycle and a cash prize of Le5 million Leones from Orange.
“I never believed that the caller was telling me the truth because there are people around town who are always calling people and giving them fake news about promotions but now that I’m here, the kekeh and the money is right in front of me; I do believe now,” she said.
