Yesterday was the final campaign rally for the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) party and their supporters turned out in their numbers as a show of solidarity for their presidential candidate Dr. Samura Kamara.

Speaking on African Young Voices (AYV) television, Western Area Publicity Secretary, Abubakarr Daramy, noted that nothing would stop the party from victory as the APC has been always popular and ‘we believe to win the 2018 elections.’

“The coalition would not affect our dominance. We know that we are not there but with Samura Kamara we would take the country forward,” he said.

Campaign chairperson for the party, John Sisay noted that: “We have an excellent candidate and we know by next week he is going to be the President of Sierra Leone. Samura Kamara would continue the good work of President Ernest Bai Koroma.Dr.Samura Kamara is the only reliable choice for their future and the turnout showed the love for him and the country as a whole.”

Chairman and Leader of the APC party, President Ernest Bai Koroma noted that: “We would not win elections by forceful means but through the ballot box.

“I am saying goodbye and presenting Dr. Samura Kamara to you. I would assure you that these people would better. This is my last public appearance in the Western Urban and handing over the baton to Samura Kamara.

Dr. Samura Kamara noted that they are all winners and that those that were not awarded symbols would be rewarded.
