Africell climaxed their Christmas and New Year’s Eve jamboree by handing over millions of Leones as cash prize winnings to lucky subscribers who took part in the promotion.
Six subscribers: Fatmata Munu, Chernor Conteh, James Bangura, Augustine Kassigbie and Hawa Kamara took home Le 10miilion each, while Salamatu Koroma, a widow and mother of six, was presented with the star prize of Le50 million.

He recalled that during the Christmas Bonanza, which lasted from December 18 to 30, subscribers participated by recharging their phones with any amount and got the chance in the daily draws to win Le1 million.
He reminded the audience about provisions in the Finance Act of 2008 which states that all lottery winning from Le500,000 and above are subject to 10% lottery tax.

At the end of the promotions, a total of 189 subscribers won megabytes of data and cash amounting to Le236, 990,000.
